This reminds me of a homily you gave on a Wednesday I believe... about how only the cracked pottery can leak out or shine forth the goodness from inside. Something like that. Obviously it stuck with me, if only in shards.. You also talked about the method of making a clay pot and how the clay has to be thrown with such violent force or it won't stick. there were many other great metaphors.. I would love to see a blog post on that someday! skm
Yes! I remember that sermon too. One of Jean's many unforgettable ones. Never heard of Kintsugi, but absolutely love the idea. Want to know more for I am certainly a cracked pot that only the love of Jesus has been able to repair and hold together at all. The more the cracks, the more His light can shine through. Thank you Jesus.
